A GORSEINON woman has been fined after causing a head on collision in Ammanford.
Patricia Morgan, of Trinity Street, was sentenced at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The 50-year-old, who was not present in court, admitted driving without due care and attention on Pontarddulais Road by post.
On August 3, Morgan was driving through Ammanford when she crossed over on to the wrong side of the road and collided head on with an oncoming vehicle.
As a result of the collision the driver and passenger in the other vehicle both sustained injuries.
Morgan was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32.01, and told to cover prosecution costs of £85.
She was also handed six points on her licence.
