A WOMAN has been jailed for more than five months after assaulting a man in Glanamman while in possession of a meat cleaver.
Sabrina Jenkins, of no fixed abode, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Wednesday where she was jailed for 22 weeks.
The 24-year-old admitted six offences at the appearance.
On January 14, Jenkins was found in possession of a meat cleaver in Glanamman. She was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison and ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge.
On the same day, Jenkins carried out an assault in Glanamman which she was handed a concurrent three week prison sentence for.
She was also ordered to pay the victim £50 in compensation.
For failing to provide a sample to police while driving on New Year's Day, Jenkins was disqualified from drinking for 12 months, and sentenced to two weeks in prison to be served consecutively.
She also admitted to counts of theft. One incident saw her steal hair straighteners from Boots in Haverfordwest on August 18.
She was ordered to pay back £79.99 in compensation and was also handed a three week prison sentence to be served consecutively.
During the second theft, on July 30, Jenkins admitted stealing food from Londis in Haverfordwest.
She received a three week concurrent prison sentence and told to pay back £23.66 in compensation.
Jenkins was handed a further week in prison, taking her total to 22 weeks to be served, for committing offences while the subject of a conditional discharge, handed down to her on November 6.
