A BRYNAMAN man will stand trial after denying committing a racially aggravated assault in Ammanford.

Bobby James Taylor, of Station Road, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old was accused of carrying out a racially aggravated assault in Ammanford on January 12.

He was also accused of assaulting a man and threatening to petrol bomb a shop and house.

Taylor denied the three charges, pleading not guilty.

He has been remanded in custody until January 22, when he will reappear at Llanelli Magistrates' Court for trial.

Taylor did admit causing £80s worth of damage to bags of sweets at the same shop.
