A PENYGROES man has been banned from driving after being caught using his mobile phone while behind the wheel.
Aled Mosey, of Garnfoel, was also ordered to pay more than £800 when he appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old had been found using his mobile phone while driving on Pontarddulais Road, Llangennech, on July 2.
He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and told to cover costs of £85.
Mosey was also disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending.
