Carmarthenshire East and Dinefwr MP, Jonathan Edwards is promoting the Tenovus Cancer Care 'Foodwise for Life' events.
In raising awareness of obesity as a contributing factor to cancer, and to benefit many people looking to lose a few pounds in January, Tenovus Cancer Care will be running a new course, one in Ammanford and another in Llandybie.
The 'Foodwise for Life' course aims to help people achieve sustainable weight loss by focussing on eating well, portion sizes, exercise, food labels and what they mean and much more.
The courses are free and run for 8 weeks starting on Thursday 23rd Jan 2020 11am-12pm at Ammanford Pensioners’ Hall or 2pm-3pm at Llandybie Public Memorial Hall.
Plaid Cymru MP, Jonathan Edwards said: "I would encourage anyone looking for a healthier diet or to manage their weight more effectively to go along to these local Tenovus Cancer Care events which offer an important opportunity to understand how to make the right dietary and exercise choices, and to sustain them."
