Ammanford man spared disqualification after speeding conviction
AN Ammanford man has been spared disqualification from driving after being caught speeding.
Rhodri Evans, of Walter Road, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
He was caught doing 44mph on the 30mph Pontamman Road, on September 19.
The 26-year-old was fined £344 for the offence.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and cover costs of £85.
Evans was also handed four points on his driving licence, but was spared disqualificaiton due to the impact it would have on his employment and family who rely on his driving.
