THE annual Llandeilo Festival of the Senses officially kicks off the Christmas celebrations for the town and wider area this weekend.

The free three day festival is a fabulous weekend of food, fun, entertainment and shopping opportunities.

This year’s festivities run from Friday, November 15 through to Sunday, November 17. The event has been running since 2008 and won a Carmarthenshire Tourism Award in 2017.

The festival is the largest of its kind in Carmarthenshire and last year, thousands upon thousands of visitors and locals alike, flocked to the lovely town of Llandeilo, to enjoy the gastronomical delights of local, and far-away produce.

Visitors can again dance to the music on the stage by performers such as Ffion Haf and Tomos Newman or Will Jones and Peri Lynn or get into the Christmas spirit with performances by Llandeilo Town Band. Once again this year, visitors will be able to marvel at the amazing firework display whilst children, big and small, will have the chance to see Santa and start their Christmas shopping experience.
