A GLANAMMAN man has been ordered to pay more than £400 after admitting growing cannabis.

Stephen Lloyd, of Cwmamman Road, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

He admitted growing eight cannabis plants in Glanamman and admitted being in possession of almost 50 grams of cannabis.

Both offences occured on May 5.

The 54-year-old was fined £200 for producing the cannabis plants, told to pay a £30 victim surcharge and ordered to cover costs of £85.

He was also fined £120 for the possession of cannabis.

All of the cannabis was forfeited.
