A NEW 60 home development could be on the way to Cross Hands.
A planning application has been submitted to Carmarthenshire County Council to allow the new homes to be built.
As well as the 60 homes, the proposal includes permission for associated access, parking landscaping and infrastructure works.
Plans have identified land at Cross Hands Retail Park as the site for the new development.
If approved, the homes would be built on land off Spine Road.
There will be no new roads built as part of the plans, but a new access route for pedestrians would be included from the public highway.
The plans were submitted to the council on September 9 by the ASBRI Planning group on behalf of the applicant, POBL group.
A decision on the 60 home development application is expected by November 4.
