A BETWS man broke into an Ammanford pub and stole £409 in cash.
Kieran Slattery, of Betws Road, broke into The Railway Public House, in Ammanford, on February 9.
While inside he took cash to the value of £409.
The 31-year-old appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Thursday where he admitted stealing the money.
Slattery was made the subject of a community order requiring him to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay back the £409, as well as being charged a £85 victim surcharge and having to pay £85 in costs, a total of £579.
