POLICE are appealing for information after a member of the public was assaulted on a cycle path.

Cross Hands Neighbourhood Policing Team are hoping to speak to someone who may have information surrounding the attack, which happened on August 15.

The assault occurred at around 6.30pm on the cycle path between Cefneithin and Tumble.

A spokesman for the police said: "The description of the alleged offender we have is a male wearing jeans, a dark coloured t-shirt and a brown baseball cap.

"The male had a black Labrador and a spaniel-type dog with him."
