CWMAMMAN United have managed to donate money to three local charities, following the club's first ever match under floodlights last week.
On August 22, the new floodlights at Grenig Park were switched on at the JD Cymru South match against Cwmbran Celtic.
The Blues won 2-1 and, after the match, donated proceeds from the game to three important local charities.
‘Paul’s Pledge’ received £100, ‘Amman Valley Foodbank’ at GCG were given £60 towards a rolling collection and then £100 was given to the ‘Hannah Poole’ fund.
Cwmamman United President Keith Jones was pleased to announce that the Blues have been able to help these three fantastic causes. He said: "Each of these is a local charity and each of these is very important to the club and the community. We hope as the club keeps progressing we can continue to help local charities."
The Blues First team now have two home matches coming up against Swansea University tonight and Cambrian and Clydach September 7.
