Ammanford Town Council are delighted to announce, for one weekend only, Ammanford Park will be transformed into an Outdoor Cinema.

The Greatest Showman starring Hugh Jackman will be played on the big screen on Friday, September 6.

Inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business.

The film of choice for Saturday, September 7 is Bohemian Rhapsody starring Rami Malek.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury.

The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound.

Organisers of the Outdoor Cinema said: “We all know what Wales is like when it comes to the weather and that could mean sun, rain and everything in between.

“The screening will go ahead regardless of the weather unless there is a potential safety issue, for example, thunderstorms.

“Please come prepared for the worst and hope for the best.”

“It’s a bring your own seating situation so bring along chairs, blankets, etc.

“It could be hot. It could be cold. It could be wet. It could be dry.

“It will probably be all of them at some point during the evening so make sure you are prepared for them all.

“Warm clothing, waterproof jackets and plenty of blankets. It's just like a sleep over.

“Tickets are selling fast so buy today to avoid disappointment.”

Gates open at 6pm.
