A MEDSTEAD teenager was back before the courts only weeks after sentencing for a series of bike thefts.
Thomas Adam Rhys Novak, 18, admitted being in possession of a bike without proof of ownership at Alton train station on June 4 and June 13.
Magistrates in Basingstoke heard that Novak, of Green Stile, was prohibited by a criminal behaviour order made on May 3 from having a bike unless he could prove he owned it.
He was also in breach of a community order imposed for handling stolen bikes, theft of bikes and shoplifting.
Magistrates imposed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days and a £115 victim surcharge.
