POLICE have named the man who died in Ystalyfera on Sunday evening.
Raymond Ashley, 50, died in Maes Y Darren, Ystalyfera, shortly after emeregency services were called after 10.30pm on Sunday.
Two people were arrested on suspicion of murder by South Wales Police and have since been released under investigation.
Mr Ashley's children, Steven, Kristy and James said: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dad, he will be sadly missed by all of his friends, family, his children and grandchildren, he was a great character and kind to all that knew him."
A police spokesman said: "South Wales Police can confirm that the 48 year-old man and the 28 year-old woman arrested as part of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 50 year-old man in Maes Y Darren, Ystalyfera, have been released under investigation."
