Residents of a Capel Hendre care home were treated to a visit from local schools on Friday, June 28 to celebrate National Care Home Open Day.
This year’s open day theme was arts in care and there was plenty going on from pictures created by local school children to handmade blankets.
Ysgol Saron entertained residents and staff with a performance of several songs which was enjoyed by all.
Pupils at Ysgol Bro Banw formed a partnership with the care home previously when they visited residents to show the how to use an iPad.
Residents were happy to be reunited with their young friends during the event.
As well as a visit from the local schools, there was a raffle and entertainment from Seindorf Arian Crwbin and Creative Mojo.
Money raised on the day goes towards the care home.
