A TALLEY man has been ordered to pay more than £1,000 after being found guilty of carrying out two assaults in Llandeilo.

Daniel Harries, of Hope Farm, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court for sentencing on Wednesday.

He had originally denied two counts of assault, but was found guilty at trial on June 25.

The first incident occurred on December 28 and the second on January 17, both in Llandeilo.

The 33-year-old was fined £300, ordered to pay £200 in compensation, an £85 victim surcharge, and told to cover costs totalling £640.

Two community orders were also handed to Harries.
