Exciting developments are being made at Gate and District Welfare Hall, Penygroes
The Hall is located on land that was given to the local Community in the 1950’s and there has been a Committee running events ever since.
Recent fundraising efforts have focused upon the development of a multi-use games area (MUGA) situated alongside the hall which will enable a wide range of sporting activities to take place.
Alun Griffiths Civil Engineering and Construction has assisted with the project by donating materials and manpower in levelling and preparing the surface area for the next stage.
"As a company we are mindful of the disturbance and inconvenience construction can be to local residents," said Gavin Powell, Site Agent at Gorslas.
"We are therefore delighted to assist with this community project."
