Ashmole & Co Partner, Ceri Llwyd, will be skydiving over Gower later this month to help raise funds for Wales YFC’s chosen charity this year - Wales Air Ambulance.

Based in the firm’s Llandovery and Llandeilo offices, Ceri has never skydived before in her life but has agreed to take part to support Wales YFC Chairman, Dafydd Jones, as he aims to raise much-needed funds for Wales Air Ambulance during his year in office.

Ceri lives in Gorslas with her young family and has been a partner with Ashmole & Co since 2008 when the firm opened its office in Llandovery.

Ceri is a Welsh speaker and specialises in helping farmers, solicitors, family run businesses and charities. Preferring singing to skydiving in her spare time, Ceri sings with Côr Llanddarog a’r Cylch.

Ceri said: “Ashmole & Co have supported Wales YFC for many years in various ways and we are their external auditors.

"This is an unusual way to show my support for them I will admit as I am petrified of doing the skydive but it is for a fantastic cause.

2Wales Air Ambulance has helped so many of my clients in the rural area of north Carmarthenshire. I hope friends, family and clients will support me.”

Wales Air Ambulance charity is funded by the people of Wales and requires £6.5 million a year to keep its four helicopters in the sky, serving Wales and saving lives. The charity can be anywhere in Wales within 20 minutes, its doctors and medics fly the A&E department to the patient. It also runs the Children's Wales Air Ambulance service, transferring vulnerable babies and children to the specialist hospitals across the UK. Donations keep this vital service in the air.

If you would like to support Ceri and make a donation towards her fundraising skydive on 29 June 2019 you can make a donation in any of the Ashmole & Co offices or online at justgiving.com/fundraising/Ceri-Llwyd
