AN 18-YEAR-OLD man from Thor was fined £3 by Ammanford magistrates for using indecent language in New-Road Ammanford.
Two other youths were each fined £3 by Ammanford magistrates after they were also found guilt of using indecent language on the same occasion.

A RETIRED farmer from Llandeilo was fined £3 and had his licence endorsed by Llandeilo magistrates after he pleaded guilty by post to driving without due care and attention.

FOR using a motor lorry without brakes on the trailer, a 35-year-old male driver of Bryncethin, Gorslas was fined £2 by Ammanford magistrates.
He admitted the offence which fools place in Cwmamman road, Garnant.
His licence was also endorsed.

A 30 -YEAR-OLD housewife of Harold Street, Ammanford was ordered to keep her dog under control by Ammanford magistrates.
She admitted that the dog was out of Cornell when it bit the five-year-old girl.
She was ordered to by 7s. 6d. costs.

THE committee which was set up to further a street improvement scheme for the town of Llandeilo are hoping to publish a complete report and survey of the town at the next public meeting.

REPORTS that some areas of Wales had not been provided with alternative terms of transport following rail closures were discussed at a meeting of the Welsh Local Authorities Association at Llandrindod Wells.
After hearing complains, the Welsh Local Authorities Association decided to asked Secretary of State to investigate into the situation and to report back any findings.
