A GLANAMAN man has been handed a community order after being caught with a knife and admitting making threats.

Joshua Jenkins, of Cwmamman Road, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

The 24-year-old admitting having a kitchen knife in his possession, in Cwmamman Road, on May 26.

He also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive way.

For the possession of the knife, Jenkins was told to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work, told to pay an £85 victim surcharge and pay £85 in costs.

There was no separate penalty enforced for the threatening behaviour.
