A FFAIRFACH woman has been charged more than £300 and hit with six points on her driving licence after admitting driving at almost twice the speed limit.
Amy Rodgers, of Towy Terrace, was clocked travelling at 54mph in a 30mph zone.
She appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, having admitted the speeding offence.
Shortly after midday on March 8, Rodgers was caught speeding via laser on the A476.
She was fined £200, told to pay a £30 victim surcharge and ordered to pay £85 costs.
The 33-year-old was also handed six points on her driving licence to go with the £315 in financial penalties.
