Llandovery Carnival procession left the car park at 1pm on Sunday, May 26 to parade around the town.
The selection of floats included the pubs, Carnival Queen, Rose Queen and the Young Farmers.
Llandovery and Distrcit Carnival Associaiton chairman Peter Jones said: "Every year we produce a carnival and think “how can we beat that next year” but once again I think we succeeded.
"We’ve even got the timing of the sunshine to a tee. 12.55 on the day as last year.
"Thanks to all taking part in the parade who excel every year - aren’t they getting younger - and all who fork out a fiver to enjoy the activities on the field.
"Our special helpers this year were Poogie, Richard the club, Dai Butler and Eifion who all struggled through the rain.
"Thanks to LADCA committee Rex, Becky, Dorothy and Nigel and David Boorer - yes that’s all we are - for all your work.
"Special thanks to Angela Eady for preparing the wonderful Kings and Queens and Becki and Jon JR Petfoods for the ever growing dog show.
"Lastly thank you the local people for just being yourselves and supporting us.
"We book renowned international entertainers every year and they love coming.
"They are already trying me for bookings next year because they find Llandovery friendly and the setting second to none.
"Few months off for us all now then the preparation for 2020 will begin."
