Police are looking for a man who failed to stop following a collision in Tycroes.
Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a two-collision at Tycroes Road shortly after 4.30pm on Wednesday, May 15
A spokesperson for the force said: “The driver of a red Citroen Saxo failed to stop and left the scene on foot.
“Witnesses reported smelling alcohol on his breath.
“A search to find the driver involved dog units, helicopter (NPAS) and response officers, and continued until around 9.30pm.
“The man, thought to be from the Swansea area, is still outstanding. The investigation is ongoing to locate him.
“The Citroen Saxo has been seized for examination.
“The driver of the second car, a grey Toyota Yaris, received slight injuries.
“The road was open by around 7.30pm.
“Anyone with information is asked to report it to Ammanford Police Station by calling 101. Quote reference: DP-20190515-272”
