Jonathan Edwards MP and Penygroes County Councillor David Thomas showed their support this week by opening Evans Lettings and Sales at The Arcade in Ammanford.
Catrin Evans-Williams, who was born and raised in Penygroes, who returned to the area with her husband to raise her family, is the Director in the family business which officially opened on April 8.
Jonathan Edwards said: "It was a pleasure to support Catrin, who has returned to the area to open the family business in Ammanford.
"With her knowledge of the area and her hard work, I am sure she will have every success."
