Mayor Dafydd Wyn presents a cheque of £370 to Janice Thomas of Cwmaman Blind Society
Mayor of Cwmaman, Dafydd Wyn, has presented a cheque for £370 to Janice Thomas, organiser of the Cwmaman Blind Society following a Mayoral Concert held at Bethel Newydd Chapel in Garnant.
The Mayor praised the outstanding performances of the three local choirs namely Cor Meibion Dyffryn Aman, Cor Merched Lleisiau’r Cwm and Cor Iau Ysgol y Bedol which provided the audience with a feast of music in the chapel.
The individual artistry of Jane Altham Watkins brought to life a selection of poems and the chapel members pictured above ensured that the evening ran smoothly.
