Ysgol Betws pupils have been learning how to protect the environment this term.
Pupils have been learning about recycling both inside and outside the classroom by collecting items from around the village and bringing them back to their classroom recycling centre.
The children have also taken a trip to the school canteen to learn about food waste as well as learn about the different types of recyclable materials.
Chris Morgan said: “We have been helping the children understand more about recycling this term and we have been learning how we can protect the environment.
“Pupils have been bringing in their recyclable items from home to our own recycling centre in class.”
As well as creating their own recycling centre in school, some of the older school pupils visited Betws Wind Farm recently to lean about renewable energy.
The school is also in the process of working towards their final green flag with eco schools.
