Ammanford Town Council is hosting a fun packed family day of Easter holiday entertainment and activities, on behalf of the Mayor of Ammanford, later this month.

On Thursday, April 18, Ammanford Park will be transformed into a Easter 'Eggstravaganza', featuring a 150ft Inflatable Assault Course, Bouncy Castle, Photo Booth, Easter Bonnet Competition with prizes to be won, Children’s Actif Sports and Tennis Workshops, children's disco and Film Club.

Due to a phenomenal response, there will now be two Easter Egg Hunts taking place on the day.

Children must be registered by visiting eventbrite.com to take part in the hunt.

Ammanford Mayor Deian Harries told The Guardian: “I have decided to use this year’s Mayors fund to help entertain the children of Ammanford during Easter.

“There will be a variety of activities for the children to take part in.

“Each child registered will receive an Easter egg from me.

“We are delighted with the interest in the event and despite the phenomenal response, there are still plenty of other free activities available on the day including a Easter bonnet parade and an inflatable assault course.”

The event takes place from 10am until 5pm and is free.
