POLICE are investigating a spate of graffiti between Pont Abraham and Llandeilo.

PC Steve Morris is investigating at least 27 incidents of criminal damage which is upsetting communities.

He said: "I would like residents in and around Ammanford to look at the images and if you know who is responsible, to tell us.

"I believe that quite a few people know who is responsible for these ugly criminal offences, and I would urge them to contact me or contact Crimestoppers Wales anonymously on 0800 555 111.

"Spraying paint on anyone's property is criminal damage and can be punished with a maximum sentence of three months imprisonment and a fine of £2,500.

"We are working with staff at schools and colleges to also help us in identifying the offender.

"We do have CCTV footage of two offenders and a possible vehicle they are using, these images are currently being enhanced to assist with this investigation.

"Again I would urge anyone that knows who is responsible for any of the damages to do the right thing and name them to us or get them to come and see me at Ammanford Police Station sooner rather than later”
