Another yellow weather warning for rain has been issued for a large part of south Wales.

The warning is in place from 1am on Friday, December 7 until 9am after a week of heavy rain.

The Met Office warning for rain states: "Spells of rain, heavy at times and accompanied by windy weather, are likely to produce 20-40 mm of rain over a period of several hours.

"Coming on top of some recent very wet weather, this rain is likely to lead to some temporary flooding impacts before the rain quickly clears early Friday morning."

What to expect: Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport expected;Some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer; Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges; Some short term loss of power and other services and coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities affected by spray and/or large waves.

There has been flooding on roads and difficult driving conditions in the affected area this week, but it looks set to turn colder next week.
