The police and coroner's office are appealing for help to trace the relatives of a Swansea Valley pensioner who may have had little contact with his family for decades.

The body of 71-year-old Alan James Worthington was found at his home in Bryn Llywelyn, Alltwen, Pontardawe last Thursday.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police say Mr Worthington is originally from the Plymouth area, where he lived with his parents, brother and sister before moving to Wales at the age of 16.

The police and coroner are keen to hear from anyone who believes they are related to Mr Worthington, or who may know of a family member.
