Roads in Ystradgynlias have re-opened after a 'suspicious item' scare this afternoon.
Police were dealing with a "report of a suspicious item" at the Gurnos estate earlier today - November 1.
A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is currently dealing with a report of a suspicious item at Spencer Terrace.
"The item is described as a small box. Road closures are in place in Spencer Terrace and Heol Abraham, and a cordon is in place as a precaution."
Police confirmed at 4.30pm that both Spencer Terrace and Heol Abraham had been re-opened and thanked the community for their assistance.
