A Capel Hendre weight loss coach had gone the extra 13,000 feet to help raise funds for a good cause.

Jaimie Treharne has been a Cambridge Life Plan consultant for two years after loosing four stone in just four months back in 2016.

Along with over 40 other consultants from around the UK, Jaimie took part in a charity skydive last month to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

“Cambridge picked Cancer Research UK has their charity has obesity links to cancer and as a group we decided to do a sponsored skydive,” said Jaimie, 31.

“Different consultants and a few slimmers decided to take part in the challenge raising over £25,000 together as a team. I raised around £250.

“I was meant to do the skydive on September 16 but due to the bad weather I ended up doing it on September 30 in Peterborough.”

“The feeling when you are in the air is incredible and there’s no experience like it.

“A couple of years ago I wouldn’t have been able to do it as I would have been overweight so loosing weight has helped me do activities I never thought I’d be able to do.

“I tried loads of different weight loss plans, but I found that Cambridge suited me best and now I work full-time as a consultant to help people achieve their goals.”

This isn’t the first time Jaimie has taken to extreme heights for charity.

“I also took part in a skydive in Swansea in July this year to raise money for of Cancer Research Wales.” She said.
