Ammanford AFC have launched a new season ticket scheme to attract fans to the Recreational Ground for the 2018/19 season, as they prepare to kick off their home campaign this weekend.

After achieving promotion from Welsh League Division Two last season, the club set about constructing the new 250-seater stand to comply with incoming FAW regulations for the new Tier 2 criteria.

Construction of the new stand hindered the club’s return to the Rec, as Gruff Harrison’s men started the season with seven consecutive away games. However, the club are now ready to return to their home ground with Llantwit Major the first club to visit Ammanford in their 2018/19 campaign this coming weekend.

To mark the occasion, the club have launched a new season ticket scheme to incentivise football fans to attend games this season.

The new deals at the club are not just aimed at adults and children, but cater for various types of fans in order to increase the club fanbase.

The season ticket incorporates 15 league home games, as well as any cup games, friendlies and any other fixtures at the Rec. A season ticket for the 2018/19 season would set back fans just £60, whilst children’s prices top out at £10 for the home games.

However, the club has also targeted students in order to appeal to a younger fanbase, and a student ticket would cost just £20 for the whole season.

The club has also launched an incentive where families can have customised season ticket plans, with the price varying depending on the number of adults and children, however a family pass for two adults and two children is being marketed at a discounted £99.

Any queries regarding purchase of season tickets can be made to the club via social media, whilst the club will have a season ticket pop up shop at their first home game this Saturday, as Llantwit Major make the trip to the Rec for a 2:30pm kick off.
