Llandybie portrait artist Andy Wardrop currently has a solo show in Carmarthen.
Andy recently graduated from Carmarthen School of Art with a B.A. (Hons) in Fine Art and his portraiture work is being exhibited until October 6 at the Bean Jones Gallery, King Street with his subjects being his family and friends.
His unique style is obtained by using acrylic paint on canvas with a 'dry brush' technique.
Painting from his studio at his home in Llandeilo Road, Andy also specialises in abstract work which appear to be a kaleidoscope of shapes and patterns inspired by his local rural surroundings.
Andy is an active member of Amman Valley Art Group and regularly takes part in the annual Tywi Valley Open Studios.
