TWO friends from Llandybie have raised over £2,000 for a charity close to their hearts.
James Tommason and Ryan Lynch took part in the Cycle300 challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK earlier this month and have so far raised £2,500 for the good cause.
The duo took on a 300-mile route, which is usually done throughout the month of September, in just three days and were joined by Ryan’s dad Sean and friend Connor Thomas on the last day.
The kit sponsors were local businesses Red Lion, Llandybie RFC, Morgan Marine, LBS, Towy Valley Windows, Distinction Windows, Cig y Cennen butchers, B Pest Control, Setfords MOT centre, T & B gardening and PW Tommason & Sons.
