Another successful WASPI (Women Against State Pension Inequality) was recently held at The Red Lion, Llandybie with attendance and support by Jonathan Edwards MP together with local county councillor David Nicholas present.
The campaign needs residents continuous support to drive progress forward and a combined group rally is currently organised which will be held in London on Wednesday, October 10.
A spokesperson for the group said: "We really need tour support and anyone interested in coming along to join us to take part and attend this important combined group rally is cordially involved to a special meeting being arranged by the Ammanford and the Valleys WASPI group at Ammanford Miners Welfare Club this Sunday, September 16 at 3pm where we will together discuss logistics and transport arrangements.
"There will also be an opportunity for the WASPI admin team to assist you with any relevant procedure, paperwork and any assistance or information you may wish to discuss relating to this UK wide WASPI campaign.
There is also strength in numbers, so please come along to help us fill a coach from Ammanford and the valleys."
