An Ammanford man has today admitted an internet child sex offence.
Nicky Mark Evans, aged 27, of Clos y Coleg, appeared before Judge Paul Thomas at Swansea crown court for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Evans admitted attempting to incite a child under the age of 16 to engage in sexual activity over a five day period in May 2017.
Evans denied a further charge of attempting to meet a child after a period of sexual grooming.
Helen Randall, prosecuting, told Judge Thomas the pleas were acceptable to the prosecution.
Evans will be sentenced on June 6 after reports have been prepared by a probation officer and a psychiatrist.
Evans was granted bail meanwhile but ordered to register with the police as a sex offender.
