THE Welsh Countryman’s Game Fair will visit Llandeilo for the very first time in May.

Llandeilo used to play host to the Welsh Game Fair every year from 1986 until it stopped operating a couple of years ago.

The town will now welcome the Welsh Countryman’s Game Fair which will look to offer many of the same attractions that saw the previous game fair grow into such a well attended event.

The Countryman’s fair will take place over the last weekend in May, running from May 26 to May 28, at Troed-y-Rhiw Farm.

There will be plenty of entertainment for the family at an action packed fair which will open at 9am each day.

The main arena will feature displays from Xtreme Bikes, as well as Falconry displays, Gun Dog displays, fox hound parades and simulated coursing.

There will also be the chance to have a go at Clay Pigeon Shooting as well as hundreds of other trade stands, stalls, a food hall and a crafts hall.

Tickets for the event cost £30 for a family of four, £12 for adults, £10 for senior citizens, and £5 for children, while children under the age of five can enter for free.
