AN AMMANFORD charity shop celebrated St David’s Day in style and won a prize for their efforts.
The team at Tenovus’ Quay Street shop dressed in traditional costume and decorated their store - as well as offering tasty Welsh cake treats - as part of the town’s March 1 festivities.
And they did such a good job they were awarded the trophy for best shop window display by Bro Menter Bro Dinefwr - who had been hosting a special St David’s Day stand on Quay Street.
Shop manager Ray Thomas said: “It was a whole team effort and all the staff enjoyed decorating the window and shop.
“And it was great fun to dress-up too. We are delighted to have won.”
