Dog Furiendly, a digital community for dog owners, is bringing a Pride-themed celebratory event for dogs to Revolution Bar Cardiff on Friday, August 30 from 6pm.

The pampered pooches can sashay on the ‘dog walk’ in their very own Rupaul themed dog show called, ‘Rupaws Dog Race’.

There will also be a Lip Syncing competition for humans to get involved with and win prizes for the pooch.

Dog owners can take part in a quiz to test their dog knowledge and take part in plenty of party games to prizes to win prizes from local dog brands such as Landshark Designs, Harry and Ginny Designs and Doggone Dapper.

Dog owners will also take home a goody bag from Tails.com filled with treats and exclusive discounts.

Founder of Dog Furiendly, Adele Pember, said: “The idea for Dog Furiendly stemmed from Pride Cymru’s Big Weekend over two years ago when we found out it was a dog friendly event, so we’re bursting with pride to be hosting a Pride related event.”

“We’re putting together some tail-wagging games and collaborating with plenty of businesses who are all supporting the message this Pride.”

Amy, brand ambassador of Dog Furiendly said: “We’ve been to many Dog Furiendly events, and one thing that has stood out to us is how inclusive and diverse the entire community is.

“We wanted to celebrate this inclusiveness and diversity, which is exactly what this Pride event is all about.”

The event comes the weekend after the Pride Cymru Big Weekend and throughout the evening will be taking donations for Stonewall Cymru.
