Multi-platinum selling songwriter Fiona Bevan is heading to Cardiff next week as part of a 10-date UK tour .

As well as touring, Fiona has also recently released her new EP – ‘Wild Angels Sweet Demons’.

With her smooth soulful vocal, Fiona blends elements of pop, soul and folk to create a beautiful 4-track EP showcasing thoughtful lyrics, intricate melodies and subtle hooks.

“This EP is me exploding back into life and new songs after so long in the studio writing for everybody else,” said Fiona.

“It's full of love, life, death, sex, obsession, imperfection, and lush, widescreen, cinematic joy.”

Fiona’s song writing credits include One Direction’s hit single ‘Little Things’ with Ed Sheeran which reached number 1 in 13 countries and earned them a BMI Award.

She’s recently written a song with Ryan Tedder and Shawn Mendes which is the current Backstreet Boys single and Fiona also currently has songs recorded by Dinah Jane and Rita Ora.

Fiona is also behind the lead single from Aurora ‘Queendom,’ and the Tom Walker single ‘My Way’. Other songwriting highlights include; the Steps comeback single ‘Scared Of The Dark’ that soared straight to number 1 on the UK iTunes chart, Mika’s new single ‘It’s My House’ as well everyone from 5 Seconds Of Summer, Lights and Hey Violet to Guy Sebastian and Stefflon Don.

Since the release of her debut album ‘Talk To Strangers’ in 2014 Fiona has established herself a huge career in song writing which makes finding the time to record her own music quite difficult, until now.

“I started to carve out time for it, as I realised it was making me ill to not create my own music,” she said.

“I've been writing this music by simply following my excitement and digging deep into the darkness and seeing where it leads me. It's not about writing to a brief, or thinking about how to market to a demographic, or what might work on radio. It's me recording something I wrote, which means so much.”

‘Wild Angels Sweet Demons’ is now available and you can catch Fiona live with The Wandering Hearts at The Globe in Cardff on November 30.
