With more than three billion views on YouTube and over 50 million singles sold worldwide, chart-topping RnB artist Jason Derulo returned to Cardiff this week with his 2Sides world tour.

Before the American hitmaker took to the stage, Britain's Got Talent star Calum Scott warmed up with audience with an impressive setlist which included the "song that changed his life" 'Dancing On My Own', a Robyn cover which he wowed Simon Cowell and co with on the ITV show.

Then it was time for the main event. Jason Derulo, an international superstar who is best known for singing his own name at the start of his smash hits.

Derulo began his 20-song set with his 2009 debut single ‘Whatcha’ Say’ followed by the popular ‘TipToe’, but it was ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ which got the audience fully into the swing of things with a pitch perfect A capella introduction from the singer and a sneaky insert of ‘Shots’ by Lil John.

With a huge catalogue of bangers, Derulo ensured he pleased his Welsh fans by performing hits  ‘Wiggle’, ‘Trumpets’ and ‘It Girl’ where a female fan was picked from the audience to be serenaded on stage.

Derulo then disappeared and donned a motorbike helmet before launching into sing-a-long anthem ‘Ridin' Solo’ which was belted out by everyone inside the Motorpoint Arena.

‘Cheyenne’ was undoubtedly the vocal highlight of the night which was then followed by ‘Swalla’ which featured rapper Nicki Minaj in the background video.

As well playing his popular tracks, Derulo wasn't afraid to sample some new material which left the crowd wanting more new music from the singer in the near future.

Highly anticipated track ‘Talk Dirty’ was welcomed by fans with loud screams especially when he finished the number by kneeling on the stage beseeching Cardiff to, well, talk dirty to him.

The live band did a great job throughout as well as his extremely impressive booty-shaking dancers.

The singer's latest hit ‘Goodbye’ was cleverly performed towards the end of the set followed by number 1 single ‘Want To Want Me’.

Overall the show was fantastically energetic with awesome vocals and excellent visuals.
