More acts set to play BBC’s Biggest Weekend in Swansea will be confirmed this Friday, it has been confirmed.

Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw revealed this morning (March 7) that he will be announcing more performers who be taking to the stage in Singleton Park, Swansea on Saturday May 26 and Sunday May 27.

Last month, the DJ revealed that Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift will headline the festival alongside Jess Glynne, Craig David, J Hus, Niall Horan, Wolf Alice, James Bay and Years & Years.

Ed will headline on Saturday with Craig David, Jess Glynne, Wolf Alice and Years & Years.

Taylor Swift will top the bill on Sunday with J Hus, James Bay and Niall Horan also taking to the stage that day.

Speaking to Radio 1, Jess Glynne said she was very excited to be coming to Swansea for the Biggest Weekend.

"The crowds are always amazing at big weekend, they are always so loud and up for it."

Craig David said he can't wait to perform in Swansea: "It's going to be wicked, there's no Glastonbury this year so this will be massive."
