The site is located on the south side of Plas Y Fron in Fishguard, off the B4313, and was formerly used as a laundry and fizzy drinks factory, both of which made use of the natural spring located on the upper part of the site. There is an unmade road from the site entrance leading to two houses off the upper west side of the site, and to the east and south of the site lies agricultural land which falls outside of the settlement limits.
