The members held a meeting recently at Llandyfan hall, and enjoyed an evening of craft with Monica Haeney packing pretty parcels, Annie with patchwork and Pat Llewelyn with ladies and gents buttonholes and corsages.

Anne Saunders our president thanked everyone for a successful whist drive and donations of food and prizes etc.

The business was discussed and minutes were read.

Beryl Owen won the table tennis, winning points for our WI. Well done also to the darts team for gaining us points.

All our sympathy is extended to Mary Thone and family on the sad loss of her mother.

Raffle was won by Cherie (first), Sandra (second) and Sue Ward (third).

Competition winners: Ann Thomas (first), Monica (second) and Ann Thomas (third).

Reminder for next month – bowls and spoons for St David’s celebrations.
