Sunday, January 8: West of Llangadog - A local walk from Sawdde common to the edge of the Coed Pen Arthur. Return via Garn Goch. Seven miles (moderate) Explorer map OL 12. Please meet at Sawdde Bridge, Llangadog, departing at 1am. Leader for this walk will be Don Lazenby available on 01550 779242.

Wednesday, January 11: Pont Bren Arath - A walk in the Bethlehem area. Four miles (moderate) Explorer map 186. Please meet at Llandeilo rail station, departing at 1pm, and on by car. Leader for this walk will be Geoffrey Williams, who may be contacted on 01558 822960.

Looking ahead - Sunday, January 15 walk will take us up to the Epynt Way via tracks and lanes, return by River Irfon. Six miles (moderate) Explorer maps 187/188. Please meet at Llandovery rail station, departing 9.30am and on by car. Leader for the walk will be Judy Gore, available on 01591 610613.
