The Department of Adult Continuing Education’s (DACE) unique part-time BA (Honours) Humanities degree has been running for almost 22 years. The degree is open to people who, because of work, family or other commitments, are not able to embark on fulltime study.
Degrees in Humanities, English or History can be studied at Swansea University campus and at many community venues in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire from September 2012.
Students choose 2 subjects from English Literature, History, Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy, Counselling and many more. They study each subject during the day and/or evening for 2 hours.
No formal qualifications are required. Financial support and bursaries are available.
We can also help with childcare costs. A range of study skills support is available to students before and during their studies. Educational and careers guidance is offered to all students by our guidance team.
