His talk will consist of an overview of the main aspects of Revivalism, the gradual setting up of the Apostolic Church, the ‘split’ chapel in Penygroes, music, ie hymn singing, as part of the Revival (a very important part!), comparisons with the deep South in the USA, the role played in the locality by Pastor Dan (D.P. Williams) and the influence of the Revival on future generations.
