Art lovers will be interested to note that the Three Towns Exhibition of paintings is once again to be held at Ammanford. The exhibition will feature 80 paintings by members of three art societies - Carmarthen Sketch Club, Llanelli Art Society and Amman Valley Art Group.

The paintings can be viewed by members of the public at the library gallery from Monday, October 19 to Friday, October 30. The Ken Etheridge Memorial trophy will be awarded for the painting chosen by Swansea professional artist Ceinwen Keil, who was head of art at Pentrehafod Comprehensive school for many years.
